The Solitary Cloud

This work was created during the same time as Orange Kiss, and is inspired by views from the edge of Melbourne’s Metropolis as the updrafts and downdrafts of air create a variety of cloud formations. This piece depicts a solitary cloud advancing across the sky as the other higher cloud formations frame the work.

The cloud series of works is one of significance to the artist, due the many years spent not able to see the sky or sunlight.
